LIFTING.EXE
It is amazing how repetition reduces our lifting
capacity as is shown in this adaptation of formulas by NOISH.
TMU.EXE
This software has, in the past proven very useful to me.
By selecting a series of movements from the menu, you build a
file of movements for a given task. This file contains values
for each movement. These values are converted into time to
produce a standard. This standard is not meant to be exact
however, in comparison, if all moves are entered, the
difference should be useable. Since, if all moves are
entered, there is consistency you can develop your own fudge
factor to get closer to your own company actual times.
INDTEMP.EXE
In heat treatment of steel the tempering of a
martensitic structure is given in books as the temperature
required based on one hour at temperature. This adaptation of
formula is to convert this book tempering temperature to the
temperature required for a time you supply given in seconds.
FLANGVOL.EXE
This program is used in the design of metal stampings
and or metal stamping dies. This applies to producing flanged
holes in stampings. This applies only to flanged holes where
it is desirous to pierce a hole and then flange it without
splitting. This use of formulas is for use where the hole is
produced with ironing ( The matrix hole diameter to punch
diameter clearance is less than metal thickness. ) This
software calculates the volume of material required and from
this volume estimates the diameter of the prepierced hole.
